COMMUNITY CONNECTORS – Wellbeing group in Worcester

Community Connectors provides a range of social and wellbeing group activities, to support people who may be experiencing either social isolation or low-level stress and anxiety. We help individuals raise their self-esteem and confidence by accessing a range of learning, social and volunteering opportunities.

Community Connectors provides non-judgemental support according to an individual’s needs. We help people make positive lifestyle changes and increase their social networks within their local community.

We have a weekly timetable of activities, which is updated throughout the year, from gardening and singing, to craft and wellbeing walks, as well as regular opportunities to connect and chat.

Community Connectors support can include:

  • Social and wellbeing activities in welcoming, diverse groups
  • Low level mental health support through positive community participation
  • One-to-one support sessions, either face-to-face or by telephone
  • Support in accessing benefits, debt and financial advice and resources
  • Signposting and referring to other appropriate Worcester Community Trust opportunities, and other local agencies and professionals

We warmly welcome new members to our groups, and value the ideas and input from our clients. Our Project Workers will take the time to get to know you and talk through all the different activities available for you to join in with. There is no pressure to join in with any activities until you feel ready.
