ABOUT US

Worcester Community Trust is a registered charity that runs six community hubs in the city of Worcester providing crucial facilities for community use, activities and services that empower people of all ages.

We aim to be at the centre of thriving communities and for our hubs to be central to community activity to achieve our vision:

Worcester: A city where people feel connected, supported and empowered.

Through our projects, we deliver a wide range of services that make a difference to the daily lives of people in our communities including the socially isolated, the lonely, victims of domestic abuse and the wider community.

OUR HISTORY

Worcester Community Trust was set up in 2010 to join three charities together, taking on the management of community centres owned by Worcester City Council and taking on youth and community work on behalf of Worcester City Council and Worcestershire County Council.

OUR BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Directors of the company are our Trustees, led by the Chair, Bridget Brickley. All of our Trustees are volunteers. The Trustees set the strategic direction for the organisation and day-to-day performance is delegated to the Chief Executive Officer, Jon Newey and the team.
