Love it or hate it, we live in a digital world and we fully appreciate how daunting that can be if you lack the confidence and skills to utilise the technology available.
At Worcester Community Trust we are committed to empowering our local communities. As part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, we are delighted to launch a brand new free digital skills programme called WorkIT.
WorkIT aims to support individuals from our local communities, all based in and around Worcester City, by introducing them to the skills they need to feel more confident and empowered to engage with technology and enjoy its many benefits.
Coaching and mentoring is available on a one to one or group basis and can be delivered up until the point where individuals feel confident enough to independently move forward.
By using varying methods of coaching and mentoring we are available to deliver sessions such as:
- Device Clinics
- Internet Safety
- Online Safety for parents
- Silver Surfer sessions
- Google Suite
- CV Writing
Training and support is available across all six Community Hubs including:
The Warndon Community Hub, Shap Drive, Warndon, Worcester, WR4 9NX
