Age UK Dementia Cafe

What are they?

• These are welcoming spaces designed for individuals with mild to moderate dementia and their loved ones to connect and socialise over a cup of tea or coffee.
• Each café offers a variety of engaging and meaningful activities, including history talks, games, quizzes, live music and arts and crafts, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
• The cafés are regularly supported by our Dementia Wellbeing Service advisors, who provide practical and emotional support to attendees and can help connect them to additional services.

Is there a cost?

No, the Dementia Café’s are free of charge with complimentary refreshments provided.
