Residents across Worcester will now have greater access to our free, in-person community information and support, following the roll out of an updated weekly schedule across four of our neighbourhood hubs.

The service, which is designed to provide accessible help for anyone facing financial, employment, or wellbeing challenges will operate between 10am and 4pm at Tolly Hub on Mondays, Horizon Hub on Tuesdays, The Green Hub on Wednesdays, and Ronkswood Hub on Fridays.

The sessions are open to all, with no appointment required. Both drop-ins and referrals are welcome, making it easier for individuals and families to seek help when they need it most.

Our Community Wellbeing Support Workers will be on hand to offer guidance on a wide range of issues, including budgeting, benefits applications, mental health support, and job searching. With the ongoing cost-of-living pressures affecting many households, the service places particular emphasis on financial advice—supporting residents with income management, debt, council tax, housing benefits, pension credits, and energy bills.

For those seeking employment or training opportunities, tailored support is available. This includes help with CV writing, job applications, interview preparation, and building confidence. We can also help residents in overcoming barriers to employment, whether financial, health-related, or otherwise.

Additional assistance available includes advice on improving home energy efficiency, digital skills support and raising awareness about risks such as carbon monoxide exposure. We can also connect individuals to emergency fuel support and other specialist services where needed.

Partner organisations—including fire services, community safety groups, and healthcare networks will also be attending selected sessions to offer additional expertise.

This expanded hub presence has been put in place to make it easier for Worcester residents to access essential support and feel less isolated when facing ongoing economic and personal challenges.
