A free community event is being held at Warndon Community Hub on Saturday 6th December to give residents the opportunity to get into the festive spirit and share their ideas on the future of Warndon.
The local area has been selected to receive up to £20 million of long-term government funding through the new Pride in Place programme. Local people and community groups will decide how this money is spent, meaning this is the community’s chance to invest in the things that matter most to them, from revitalising green spaces to improving safety and local facilities and youth provision.
This is the first in a series of informal drop-in events that will allow help to gather initial ideas for building a shared vision for the community’s 10-year regeneration plan.
The event is free to attend and people of all ages are very welcome to attend. There will be free food and drinks, as well as festive crafts and activities for the children. It is being hosted by Worcester Community Trust and is taking place at Warndon Hub on Shap Drive from 2-4pm. No booking is required, and people can attend for as long or as little as they would like.
