Worcester Paint Festival is an annual event that has been bringing street art to buildings and communal areas in the City for the past five years, showcasing renowned names in the industry, supported by emerging artists to create a vibrant outdoor art gallery.

This year our very own Tolly Hub on Rowan Avenue was treated to a brand new mural on it’s exterior walls as part of this spectacular event.

‘Can you hear me?’ is the title of the amazing new artwork, which was created by world-renowned Australian street artist, Sophi Odling. The colourful, though provoking piece has brightened up the building and given it a new lease of life.

Sophi is known for her large scale murals that grace cityscapes across the globe. Her art is a vibrant tapestry of her world travels, reflecting the beauty she finds in the everyday chaos of life. It was such a pleasure to welcome Sophi to the City and watch her design come to life.

A big thank you to all of the team at Worcester Paint Festival for inviting us to take part in the festival this year, and to Platform Housing for sponsoring the mural.

To add to the updated look, later this month, Anthony from SkimDecor and Hope Church, and a group of wonderful volunteers are also kindly giving up their own time to redecorate the foyer at Tolly Hub to make the inside space feel fresh and welcoming. Along with their own time, they have also supplied all the paint being used. A huge thank you for this generous support, we are excited to see the finished result!
