Worcester City Run 2021
Worcestershire Ambassadors are the official partner of the Worcester City Run 10k and Half Marathon 2021 taking place over weekend on the 5th September 2021.
Worcester Community Trust deliver a range of services and activities to increase feelings of wellbeing, reduce loneliness and isolation, specialist support for survivors of domestic abuse and opportunities around skills and training.

Over the past 12 months the Coronavirus pandemic has had an impact on everyones mental health and wellbeing.
One of WCT’s social objectives is to offer professional support and activities to build good mental health and wellbeing.
All funds raised through the partnership between Worcestershire Ambassadors and Worcester City Runs will support the delivery of:
Mental health first aid courses will teach you to spot earlier signs and symptoms of common mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression and stress. Our courses are delivered in accordance with the Mental Health First Aid England guidelines by our specialist facilitators who have experience of training specifically in the workplace.

A cognitive therapy based peer support programme Moodmaster provides a range of simple tools and techniques to help people manage life’s emotional ups and downs more effectively, cope better with everyday stresses and worries and improve their overall quality of life.
Around 1 in 4 people each year will experience problems such as stress, anxiety and low mood. Each week the Moodmaster sessions focus on a different topic and provide simple coping skills that can be put into practice. Topics include sleep, worry, relaxation, dealing with stress, problem solving and friendships.

Run for us
In partnership with Worcestershire Ambassadors we have 40 places split between the 10k and half marathon up for grabs!
We are looking for individuals to enter on behalf of Worcestershire Ambassadors and Worcester Community Trust.
Entry costs £50 and we are asking you to commit to raising a minimum of £150 in sponsorship. You can run or walk, and your entry fee covers your place in the 10k or half-marathon – you choose – alongside receipt of our technical t-shirt/running vest, access to our training groups, webinars/talks on nutrition and injury prevention, promotion through our newsletters and social media, and more.
Fancy dress is optional but encouraged!
