Several of the Community Connectors group wanted to do something to help other people after receiving help themselves. They started The Bags of Love from Warndon appeal in August 2016 with the intention of making a donation of a bag or box to a lonely person at Christmas. They made the bags as well as knitting Hats and Scarves then took donations up until December from people in the local area. Over 150 bags and shoe boxes were made which were collected by other local charities, Community Groups, the local church as well as being hand delivered.

The Community Connectors hold lots of different events throughout the year. At the end of 2016 the Connectors Group held a Christmas Party where two members of local group Dublin Jacks, performed.
