In early March 2017 an appeal went out via the Worcester News for donations to the Neonatal Ward at The Worcester Royal Hospital.
The request was for knitted Octopuses which have long dangling legs and mimic the Umbilical Cord which premature babies grab onto.

Ladies from the Sharing Skills Group who meet every Tuesday afternoon at the Horizon Hub decided to help out and spent a couple of sessions making their creations which were presented to the Neonatal Ward by Jill Reynolds on behalf of the group.

The group regularly help out answering appeals using their shared skills which involves Cooking, Flower Arranging, Knitting, Arts & Crafts in fact they will have a go at anything. Further details about the group can be found here
