Building a Better Future!

Photo: The Building Block is our Constructions Skills Training Centre. We run various courses including Plastering, Plumbing, Tiling, Electrical, Bricklaying and Woodwork, mainly on an evening. We also run other courses such as CSCS. Please click the link to see all courses.

“I have recently completed the 5 week plastering course (evening sessions) and I am thrilled to have taken part. I had never done any plastering whatsoever before hand and now feel fully confident to take on projects in my home by myself. The facility is a fantastic, easy to find with ample parking close by. I received constant support and advice throughout all of the training, in a relaxed and friendly environment. Highly recommended, and once again Thank you to all at the Building Block!”
Rachel Lines May 2017

“Just finished the bricklaying course before Christmas. Totally recommend it, worth many more times the small fee you pay, Peter and Paul are brilliant tutors, and left with a deep sense of satisfaction. Thank you folks for this brilliant community service that sends folk away with new skills, more confidence and a deep sense of worth….will be returning for other courses”
Peter Deane January 2018

“Did a plastering course at The Building Block. Great course ran by experienced instructors who were really helpful and really went the extra mile/ Great facility, well looked after. Would recommend to anyone”.
