In March 2020, at the height of the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Country was placed into a full lockdown.

Worcester Community Trust (WCT) responded by establishing a Care Package Project (CPP) to support those who were isolating, shielding or in need of some additional support. The CPP was designed to provide weekly wellbeing phone calls from allocated key workers, care packages containing a variety of non-perishable food items and wellbeing activities such as toys for children, puzzles, books and activities as well as a freshly prepared home cooked meal.

We are delighted to share this report and video that highlights the impact of the CPP over the 25 weeks it ran between March – October 2020.
