Worcester Community Trust has become one of the latest local organisations to gain funding to employ a job coach under a national scheme called Building Better Opportunities. This project is joint funded by ESF and the Big Lottery Fund. Our Job Coaches Julia and Ceri are on hand to offer support by appointment only. Join them every Tuesday at The Horizon Hub from 09.30-11.30am for a WOMEN ONLY Job Club. We have other Job Clubs throughout our Hubs. Check here for details
Our Job Coaches are qualified to deliver Information, Advice & Guidance with several years of experience in supporting individuals into education, training and employment.
Building Better Opportunities has a specific focus on those who are out of work, including those that may be claiming JSA, ESA, Universal credit or Income Support.
Individuals on the project can expect 1:1 tailored support that will identify areas that can be improved on. Each individual will have their own action plan and will be fully supported throughout.
- Male & Female of any age
- Unemployed and long term unemployed
- Economically inactive (Not in ETE)
- Individuals with disabilities
- Ethnic minorities
- Individuals wanting to move into Education & Training
- Aged 50 or over
