We have a number of volunteer opportunities with the Worcester Community Trust. Some are specific whilst others are joining with current projects.

Currently we are in need of volunteer drivers to assist with the delivery of meals to clients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. Contact Mark Steadman, Director of Services on 07391 017681 to find out more

Runs four times per week across Warndon, Ronkswood, Tolladine and Dines Green between 10am-2pm supporting adults who may be experiencing loneliness, isolation and mental health.
Volunteer Opportunities; We are currently looking for those who are able to support in IT skills, Arts & Crafts, befriending and welcoming others, and general assistance with set up and refreshments – especially on a Wednesday at Warndon Community Centre between 12pm-2pm
We run several youth sessions each week mainly with 13 – 19 year olds
Volunteer opportunities; Dines Green – volunteer required every other Tuesday 10-12 preparing food, and Kitchen staff required during mini youth sessions on Tuesdays 3.30/4 -5.30/6, Wednesdays 3.30/4 – 5.30/6 to Cook/ heat dinner and pudding, serve, sort plates and cutlery etc, maintain squash, clean up
KIDZ PLAY – available during school holidays, working with children 5 – 11 years, art, crafts, sports & play skills – click for further details – Click for further details
The DAWN Project is a specialist programme supporting women & children affected by domestic abuse.
Volunteer opportunities; the project does not have any volunteer vacancies at present. However if you have specific experience in supporting those experiencing domestic abuse then please use the email address below to get in touch.
SNACK & CHAT
Community lunches for the over 50s that run across four of our Hubs.
Volunteer opportunities; Help with preparing and serving food, clearing away etc., welcoming and befriending those attending. Locations vary; Mon – Thurs 10am – 2.00pm
THE BUILDING BLOCK
A Construction Skills Centre based at our Warndon Community Hub running regular courses in bricklaying, plastering, tiling, plumbing and electrics for various groups from the local community. Runs Monday – Friday daytimes and evenings.
Volunteer Opportunities; Current or ex. Tradespeople to help facilitate courses and classes.
