We have a number of volunteer opportunities with the Worcester Community Trust. Some are specific whilst others are joining with current projects.

COMMUNITY CONNECTORS – chatting to service users, giving support & advice (non-technical), using internet, craft skills. 10.00am – 2.00pm – Click For Further details

YOUTH WORK – working with young people, sports, art & craft skills appreciated, be available after school hours, working mainly with 13 – 19 year olds – Click for further details

KIDZ PLAY – available during school holidays, working with children 5 – 11 years, art, crafts, sports & play skills – click for further details – Click for further details

DAWN PROJECT –  a specialist programme supporting women & children affected by domestic abuse, available in the day time, excellent empathy skills, provide support, signposting – Click for further details

SNACK & CHAT – Community Lunches that run across four of our Hubs. Help with preparing food, serving food, clearing away etc. chatting to older people. Mon – Thurs 12.00pm – 2.00pm – Click for further details

THE BUILDING BLOCK – a Construction Skills Centre in Warndon, Worcester – DIY enthusiasts, Hobbyists, We run regular courses in bricklaying, plastering, tiling, plumbing, electrics and woodwork. Mon – Fri 9.00am – 5.00pm – Click for further details

RECONNECTIONS – visiting & supporting lonely older people back into the community. 1 – 2 hours per week flexible, signposting to activities, Click for further details

CUSTOMER SERVICES – IT skills for booking system, good telephone manner and administration skills

TRUST PROMOTION – Fund raising, increasing customer numbers, attending events, attracting volunteers. Self-motivated, flexible
