We have a number of volunteer opportunities with the Worcester Community Trust.

COMMUNITY CONNECTORS – chatting to service users, giving support & advice (non-technical), using internet, craft skills. 10.00am – 2.00pm Mon – Thursday

YOUTH WORK – working with young people, sports, art & craft skills appreciated, be available after school hours, working mainly with 13 – 19 year olds

KIDZ PLAY – available during school holidays, working with children 5 – 11 years, art, crafts, sports & play skills

DAWN PROJECT – (a specialist programme support women & children affected by domestic abuse), available in the day time, excellent empathy skills, provide support, signposting

SNACK & CHAT – help with preparing food, serving food, clearing away etc. chatting to older people. Mon – Thurs 9.00am – 2.00pm

THE BUILDING BLOCK – a Construction Skills Centre – DIY enthusiasts, Hobbyists, Trades people –e.g. bricklaying, plastering, tiling, plumbing, electrics, welding. Mon – Fri 9.00am – 5.00pm

RECONNECTIONS – visiting & supporting lonely older people back into the community. 1 – 2 hours per week flexible, signposting to activities,

CUSTOMER SERVICES – IT skills for booking system, good telephone manner, administration skills, social media

TRUST PROMOTION – Fund raising, increasing customer numbers, attending events, attracting volunteers. Self-motivated, flexible
